Welcome to Tropical Experience
| Tropical
Experience Restaurant and Grill is a unique restaurant
and retail adventure with more than ambience, with realistic
indoor tropical scenery. Our astonishingly luxuriant setting
has stunning waterfalls, tropical plants and trees, and a
beautiful huge aquarium that will make you feel that you are
truly in the lands of paradise! Our remarkable atmosphere
is also accompanied by live music, entertainment, and of course
delicious food influenced by the cuisines of South Pacific,
Australia, South America and Africa. There is no other restaurant
quite like this one. |
Currently we are
located all over the United States and Australia, but the
very first restaurant was opened in the fall of 1986 in the
small city of Chico, California. It was planned and designed
by Clarke Steinback, a well-known professor who taught in
California State University, Chico prior to pursuing his dream
of owning a restaurant. The tropical theme was inspired by
a restaurant he visited in the island of Jamaica. Ideas sparked
after his visit and the outcome was the most beautiful place
where you can come eat, relax, and enjoy an evening of entertainment!
