A bit more about myself.

Born to a Cantonese Chinese family in Malaysia in 1971, I was named Wing Keong, means "eternal strength" in the same language. There I grew up till about the age of 11 when I was sent overseas, actually across the straits, to Singapore to be educated and given a chance to be something in life. In time, I found my calling in the technical subjects and made computer programming an easy choice for what I would pursue in college in the United States. I was a professional C programmer for a while, back in Malaysia. Now I work in Silicon Valley at Edify, a software company.

A picture of my family.

This is my family giving me a send off to California. This picture was taken at the airport A&W. That weird bulge on my chest is my document pouch, by the way, and not some hideous deformity.

The men in my family.

The men of the Loo clan. Me on the left, my father and younger brother.
