Introduction to the IEEE Tutoring Program

Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers

The IEEE Student Chapter at CSUC started tutoring services to help promote excellence and student achievement.  This program is not only beneficial at the individual level, but also promotes a quality education at Chico State that can ensure a competitive advantage in industry.  The IEEE Tutoring Program is designed to provide help to students, by their peers, on difficult concepts in a Electrical and Computer Engineering Curriculum.  This program has been proven to increase performance in course work by explaining concepts at a student level, and allowing professors to work with students on more complex issues.

We are currently offering these FREE services:

Scheduled Tutoring Sessions
We are providing scheduled tutoring sessions for difficult courses and subjects that have high demand for tutoring services on a regular basis.
Walk-in Tutoring
Walk-in Tutoring is located in OCNL 349 for students that have technical questions that arise throughout the semester and not covered during regular tutoring sessions.
Tutoring Referrals
We will make every effort not to turn a student away empty handed.  When help can not be provided due to the lack of tutors or knowledge of a subject, we will refer you to other tutoring services on campus.
