Next Alumni Meeting Where and When:
T.B.A.
What has and is happening:
- ME Alumni meeting was held Saturday, April 26th. at Tres Hombres
Restaurant in Chico at noon (an easy place and time for the 6
people that could attend). A little more information on trying
to schedule the first social event was discussed. The Idea of
going to a Private Campground Sponsored by Hewlett Packard was
brought up and was received well (very close for people in the
bay area!) Jen Woodin has more information on this. Jen is hoping
to get an Internet account for the Alumni to use instead of using
our own private account (so this page and information may be moved).
Once the New Internet Alumni account is established there may
be one more postal mailing of this information.
- The first ME Alumni meeting was held February 21, 1997 (Alumni
day) in Langdon room 122. Jennifer Woodin had a little agenda
and some information to start things off for the first meeting.
A discussion of how often we would like to meet came up. Also
a discussion on some activities snow & water skiing or trips
to other places ... more on this later ... as interests is shown.
Suggestion:
I volunteered to work on doing/starting this alumni web page.
Ideas for the web page so far is a tool for people to have their
names, address, where they work, and if possible ... job information
for people wanting to network. I think it could also contain an
ASCII text file with the minutes (if we write anything ... otherwise
what you see is what you get.)
