CALENDER OF EVENTS

*March 21st is Community Service Day on campus; This event is a Campus Clean-Up Day that all Greeks are participating in. If any Alumni is interested in assisting the chapter with this event give us a call.

*March 21st 4th Annual O'Brienfest at the O'Brien residence in the Bay Area.

*March 25th Pasta, Wine, and Friends Night at the House. This event will be a shirt and tie event. Bring a significant other, your favorite bottle of wine and enjoy pasta and friendship. This would be an excellent opportunity to meet the Xi Class Members and share some Fraternal experiences. Contact Richard Mead if you wish to attend at (916)364-8933.

*March 27th-29th Chapter Retreat in North Lake Tahoe. All alumni are invited to share, enjoy and participate in this goal setting and chapter planning event. If you wish to attend Call GMC Dan Mayorga at (916)492-9011.

*April 18th POKER WITH THE BROTHERS Mark your calendars, bring your cigars, preferred beverage(s) and be prepared to put on your best poker face 'cause that hand is going to need some help!!!!

RUSH

     We would like to thank all the Alumni that took time out of their busy lives to come and share the Brotherhood during our Alumni Night during RUSH WEEK!! Your participation in this event was much appreciated

 

ALUMNI

     We would like to also thank the generous contributions of two of our alumni. Tony Hocking gave a generous $500.00 donation which helped make rush this spring a great success. Mike S. O'Brien's $25.00 donation sent to IMH was applied directly to our chapter account.

Once again, thank you for these contributions.

CHAPTER EVENTS

     The chapter is currently involved with IM basketball and are expecting to make it to the playoffs which begin next week.

     The chapter just took first place in Phi Sigma Sigma's Rack'em Up (nationally affiliated chapter of the previously local Sigma Omega Chi). This event is their philanthropy that benefits the National Kidney Foundation. The team posted a first in three of the four scored competitions which included bowling, darts, and pool. This clinched the first place position overall. Great job to all who participated!!!
