Brothers:

-
Nu-Lambda
is steadily approaching it’s first major benchmark: it’s 10th
Anniversary. When Ron Cook, Dave Sanabria and Wayne Sutton decided
to create a chapter of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity at Sacramento
State, they might have not known the impact they were creating on
so many of us.
-
-
10
years later, it’s time to reflect upon our chapter’s 10-year
history, as well as look to the future of things to come. Things
have only started here at the Nu-Lambda chapter.
-
-
On
the weekend of November 9–11, 2001, we will be celebrating Nu-Lambda’s
10-year anniversary, as well as getting together with Brothers
from far and wide… anyone who’s ever been
involved with the Nu-Lambda chapter will be given the opportunity
to reflect upon the chapter as well as catch up with old friends.

Please
make every effort as possible to attend this incredible event –
from the initial response, all alumni have overwhelmingly
expressed a firm interest in coming to this event. This letter is
a ‘heads up’ regarding the event, to let everyone know so we
can put the date on our calendars as well as make plans to be in
town. We will be sending out formal invitations this fall.
We will also be sending out hard copies of this notice out to
Brothers once the location has been firmed up.
-
Brothers,
this reunion weekend promises to reunite lots of lost Brothers, as
well as bring back some of our alumni that have lost touch with
the chapter. We anticipate a crowd of at least 200 people, as this
event has been much anticipated. Please make every effort possible
to attend this grand event, as it will surely be a great time.
-
-
We
are currently working on a website for the event, which will
include actives and alumni contact information. Our biggest
concern at this time is tracking down ‘ghost’ Brothers who
have little or no contact with the chapter… We’ll post a list
of Brothers who we’ve lost touch with – hopefully we can find
more information on some of the guys that have seemed to disappear
over the years.
-
-
If
you are interested in helping out in planning the event, please
contact John Gladding at 916 – 356 – 7965. Currently, we have
about 7 Brothers planning the event, however all help is
appreciated!

I
look forward to seeing you as we celebrate the Star and
Crescent’s 10th year at CSUS.
