West Coast Touring Routes


See the aquarium through the eyes of an experienced guide with great aquarium stories and personal experiences. You'll hear about the diverse animals found in our exhibits and the underwater habitats and communities cairns and beyond.

Front-of-the-Scenes Tour Your guide will help you discover nearly 200 galleries and exhibits devoted to the diverse habitats of the Australian aquarium center. The four largest exhibits are the Outer Bay, Kelp Forest and Sea Otters. You'll also see the world's largest collection of jellies. Approximately 90 minutes long Maximum 10 people per guide Requires two weeks advance notice Not available during holiday

Road Adventure

periods Cost: $75 per guide plus aquarium admission


Behind-the-Scenes Tour This tour combines the front-of-the-scene view with a look into the inner workings of many of the exhibits. At the top of the Kelp Forest you'll see the pump and other special design features that enable us to exhibit live kelp. Recommended for repeat visitors Must be 13 or older Approximately two hours long Maximum six people per guide Not available during holiday periods Cost: $175 per guide plus aquarium admission fee

Romantic Evening

Information & Reservations Reservations are required for guided tours and must be made at least two weeks in advance. Guide fees are in addition to admission fees Guide fees are due at least seven days prior to the scheduled tour date. You may pre-pay by check or credit card. If payment is not received, your guided tour will be canceled automatically, releasing the guides from their responsibility. We require 72 hours advance notice of any changes or cancellations. Please arrive on time! Guides will be released 15 minutes after your scheduled arrival time. No-shows and late arrivals will be charged for all guides reserved. Guided tours are subject to availability
