Local Resources:

• Seminars - the Centre offers a series of educational seminars and lectures on ocean and marine biology related topics. A full multimedia experience awaits your students as they learn about the Great Barrier Reef, local history, and the wondrous array of marine life that lies beneath the surface of the sea.
• Classrooms - for those teachers that would like an extended venue from which to teach their students, we have a large lecture hall ideally suited for the task. All the Centre’s resources are at your finger tips, including a research database, computers and a multimillion dollar audio-video system.
• Field Trips and Excursions - the Centre regularly participates in ocean excursions and marine related field trips in partnership with many local schools. Contact us to determine if your school is currently participating in this program.
