For the month of December, our showcase exhibition is the 'Navigation by Sea and Starlight' display.

This exhibit demonstrates the way in which ancient sailors used the ocean currents and constellations to navigate on long journeys by sea. We explore the various trade routes used during this era, the way in which the world as perceived through period era maps, and the methods and currents used by sailors to complete their many voyages.
