Welcome to The Australian Science and Education Aquarium Centre, the premier aquatic research institute of Queensland Australia. At the Centre, you can explore the wondrous variety of ocean life, from the teeming Great Barrier Reef to the mysterious creatures that lie near the bottom of the sea.

In addition to our extensive research facilities, the Centre also include a world class aquarium. This section of the Centre is divided into 'sectors', each focusing on various components of the marine ecosystem. The aquarium has educated and entertained almost 100,000 visitors a year.
