| | Inspiration
The inspiration for my project came about before the semester had even started. Ever since I have interested in 3D Modeling, I have always wanted to model my favorite car, the Nissan 350z. Now that I had the skills necessary to accomplish this task, I decided to make it my final project. Another reason I decided on the 350z was because of the extensive use of Lightwave Modeler that would be required. My past two projects have been such that I spent most of my time in Layout. I wanted to refine my skills in Modeler and the 350z would give me plenty of time to do so.

| | Problems and Solutions
I did not uncover many major problems with this project. My main issue came when it was time to “freeze” the model and continue with more detailed work. While “freezing” the model makes it possible for this intricate work, it also increases the chances of non-planar polygons and points not matching. There is no easy fix for this problem other than to go slow and make sure you are selecting the correct polygons/points to modify.
