| | Problems and Solutions
Problems: I had some problems with modeling because when I subpatched some polygons it created some spaces around the corner since subpatching it made it round so I didn’t really know what to do. For example on the claws, the inner part of it is subpatched and when I did that, the inner part was shorten and round on the corners creating spaces there since the outer parts was not subpatched. I had a lot of problems with the special effects and lightings. Solution: For the subpatching problem, I used the knife tool to created some point close to the rounded edges when it got subpatched, and just used the snap tool to combine the points that I just made with the knife tool and the points from the corner of the parts that weren’t subpatched and that close of the empty space of the subpatched area. For every modeling object in my project, I used a lot of the snap tool to basically combined the points of two polygons.
