| | Inspiration
I created this scene after seeing an old roomate of mine create his desk using milk crates and particlewood.

| | Problems and Solutions
At first I had a hard time moving my objects around in the layout because they were all on seperate layers, I solved this by pasting everything into one layer for each object. There was also some trouble with the lighting and shadows. Just fiddling with the options until I got my desired effect seemed to work.

| | Time Frame
It is hard to say how much time was spent on each object or texture. All together I would say though that the lighting and rendering process of moving cameras and lights to where your render looks good is one of the most time consuming elements.
