| | Inspiration
My friends are opening up a cybergaming business where people will be able to come and for a fee play the latest online games with ultra highspeed. They have asked me to create a 3D model of what the store could be made to look like. So I figured this desk scene would be a perfect chance to start on the concept.

| | Problems and Solutions
To make the desk’s curves, Clarke showed me how to make a cookie cutter shape to make the round curve at the top sides of the desk.
I needed to make the monitor glow, so I messed around a little and finally made an area light and turned it facing the screen.
To get the glow of florescent lights, I had to turn on the lens flare and play with the settings to make it look real.
Other than that, everything went fine.
