 Moonlighting
Inspiration

The early black and white private detective movies.  I attempted to recreate the feel of these movies by placing objects that, I personally felt, reflected the personalities of these characters.

Problems and Solutions

Due to lack of experience and time in general I was un able to successfully render my glass object.  I made several attempts at achieving this effect but eventually ran out of time.  I found this assignment difficult and frustrating due to my lack of knowledge and experience, although I did enjoy the challenge it presented.

Time Frame

I spent an hour to 2 hours per object of my own design and an hour modifying the lightwave objects I imported, and 4 hours in layout finalizing my scene.  By the end of it all I spent about 13 hours on this particular scene,  although I wish I could have spent more.

Being that I had severe time constraints I was unable to utilize any tutorials.
