Well, I admit that there wasn’t really all that much to this scene. I did however want my lamp to portray my original drawing. It seems to have come off quite well. I’m a big fan of motorcycling, thus the pictures of motorcycles on the walls. I hope you enjoy this work, thank you.

| | Problems and Solutions
I wanted to create a light bulb that was clear, but that ended up being a little more work than I wanted to at the moment, so I decided to go with a white opaque coated light bulb that doesn’t look all that bad. I ended up making it slightly translucent and passing a point light through it as well as making it an illuminated surface. The other problem that I ran into was creating decent looking handles for my drawers. I ended up spending quite a bit of time working on those and had to take and create the top half of one side of the handle and extrude and arc while matching points to splines I made to mate the outer and inner edges. After finishing the extrusions, I took and mirrored the model twice to make the top and the other side, then welded them together by merging the points.

- lamp and handles took about an hour a piece - desk approximately an hour (minus handles) - glass about 1.5 hours - pencil 5 minutes - posters and papers 5 minutes each - room and shelf about 15-25 minutes each
