Learning Game Maker

To assist in developing games and game prototypes, it is important to understand the limitations of your development environment and your implementation team. Thus you need to understand how to use Game Maker and what you can do with it.

Down load the program:   Game Maker version 7

For this exercise, you must do two tutorials:

Tutorial: Your First Game (zip file, 850 KB) : a very basic introduction to the program.

You will probably want to try some of the other tutorials listed in the resources below to expand your knowledge of how to use the program and what you can accomplish with the tool.
