TaskTop of Page

During your assigned time slot, you must use your portfolio site as a vehicle to showcase your skills and talents to perspective employers.

You will have four (4) to five (5) minutes for your presentation.  Presentations less than four (4) minutes are unacceptable and respecting your audience's time is important, so do not go over five (5) minutes.

Make sure you introduce yourself.

Your presentation will be evaluated on your introduction, organization, focus on the target audience, effective use of visuals, your conclusion, and an overall effectiveness of the presentation.  Remember that a conclusion is not the cessation of talk nor is it saying your are done talking.  A conclusion is the summary of your presentation.  See A Research Guide for Students by I. Lee for presentation suggestions.
