Inspiration
 
The inspiration for my project came from the game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. which features various Russian characters attempting to recover artifacts from a highly irradiated zone.  These characters fight amongst each other to gain possession of the artifacts.  I chose the gasmask and the bullets to represent abandoned gear after a small firefight.

Problems and Solutions

I had some trouble deciding whether I wanted to have a more realistic scene or a more emotional scene.  I chose a more emotional feel so I bumped up the reflection on the lenses and got rid of my radiosity.
