 Gundam Impulse
Inspiration

I always love the Gundam series. The latest one that I am very hook on is Gundam Seed Destiny. When I learn that we are free to do whatever we want for our final project the first thing on my mind was a robot, which led to doing the Gundam Impulse. The reason why I pick Impulse out of all the Gundam available is because he is probably the most powerful Gundam.

He is very powerful and he always sent on tough missions. The story in this scene is where Impulse is flying up pass the cloud to kick some butts.  He is just about to get pass the cloud and reach his target(s).

Problems and Solutions

I did not encounter that much problems when modeling my Gundam. I did, however, encounter a problem that occurs a lot during my modeling phase. That problem was missing polygons after a Boolean. The solution that I used was to weld in points that are close together. After that, I would select each of the points that had the missing polygon in clockwise. Finally, I would use the make poly tool to fill in the missing polygon. This became very repetitive and time consuming.
