| | Inspiration Its 5am Sunday, race day, the car has been silent all night. The crew is wired and no one except the driver has slept in 48 hours. The last few oil lines and electrical wires are being hooked up, and there are so many people around the car it looks like the crew is feeding on it. As I stand in the back watching and prepping my camera for the day to come, a young man runs into the garage with a huge box and a grin from ear-to-ear on his face. He sets the box down next to me and quickly rips it open, revealing a nice new red turbocharger. He then tells the crew, “Hey, new turbo just got in from APS. It’s redesigned so it won’t blow the engine this time.” Everyone smiles and then turn around and get right back to work. He carefully takes it out and places it right on the rolling cart next to me, perfect time to take some shots and set up my camera. I kneel down focus the turbo and snap off a shot. Just as it clicks the man turns around and starts yelling at me. He then grabs me and throws me out of the garage. As he is shoving me out the door my camera bangs into the metal door and pieces go flying off of it. That’s how I lost my job and my camera, but at least I got a picture, and one that rival turbocharger companies are willing to pay big money for.

| | Problems and Solutions
Not to many problems, I didn’t venture too far out of my knowledge in the program. Mostly, basic confusion referencing tutorials done for 9.0 and working on 7.5. Time constraints and my computer at home crashing every time I run Lightwave were also problems I had. I also spent way too much time modeling the screws on the rolling cart, but I felt that if they didn’t look right the scene would not come together.
