| | Inspiration An artist only really wants to do one thing to his viewer; provoke a feeling of ineffable nature that can only be awakened when his work is seen. This goes for all artists; the musician, painter, director, and so on. When I began I started with the idea of awkward loneliness, the blah feeling of rejection and demise. In the composition “Heat and Head”, inspired by the Mac Dre song released earlier this decade, the character expresses the feelings I got from the song and it creates feelings for the viewer as well. Focus on the scene as a whole. The symbols and expressions in the architecture create mood and character. The story is as simple as it appears; a pseudo- cartoon character with an evil look wiping his face while sitting next to a blood-bath with an axe stuck in it. Pretty open ended.

| | Problems and Solutions
Problems I encountered mostly dealt with color scheme; it started grey toned, then monochromatic black, then an all color spectrum, and finally back to mono grey with accents of red. This creates drama and lets the scene play off the HDR image. Also, HDR lighting was tough but rewarding. The composition was really taken to new heights with it.
