 Orkin man, you missed one
Inspiration

Well I started out by having an idea for a wooden box and perhaps an ant or ladybug inside, kind of giving a perspective of what it would be like if you were a bug. Yet, as I began creating my ant/termite/ladybug it resulted into a mold of the 3 and hence, a new insect was created. This became my version of a termite, a more menacing, eats wood along with flesh if starving, in your attic termite.  It’s time to call the Orchin man.

Problems and Solutions

The UV mapping of the textures presented the biggest problem for certain parts of the termites body. The Modeling wasn’t too difficult and therefore I wanted to focus on the textures of the termite in order to bring out a kind of realism to its basic shape. Basically trial and error on top of UV mapping tutorials helped solve my difficulties for the most part.
