 Relaxing By the Pool
Inspiration

What is something I like to do? Well I really enjoy my time to relax although; since I came to Chico I haven’t had too much time for that. But summers just around the corner and the heat is starting up so what better place is there to relax then by the pool. Hence the title of my final scene. My family just got a new swimming pool in and I have only used it once, since my trips are fairly short. So this scene is something that came to mind since I’m so looking forward to some R&R. So just sit back and image yourself here at an extravagant resort by the ocean having a drink and just relaxing during a slight overcast day.  That’s perfect weather, if you ask me.

Problems and Solutions

1.       I had some problems in modeling some of the rounded steps. I started with creating one big polygon and trying to cut sections and just moving the different parts. It did not work out as easily as I thought so it might have been easier to make them different polygons from the get go.

2.       I had a major problem with the sum umbrella that I added to the scene. When I tried to render it would come out with weird dark spots. After talking to Clarke I found out that it was because I had a bottom layer and the computer would get confused so I deleted it and it worked.
