| | Inspiration
I have a very small workspace in my current office. An ideal office space would have plenty of open space and storage area. It would also be nice to have a window that would allow light in. I was recently purchasing some furniture at Ikea and was looking through one of their catalogs. When I got to page 278, I thought that would be a nice office/work area to have.
This is a representation of that office just before twilight.

| | Problems and Solutions
The biggest problem was render time. Since I chose a glass top table, render times were several hours. The solution was to render partial frames using the limited region camera option.
I also set up a test camera in my scene to render imported objects so I wouldn't have to re-render the entire scene with every addition.
A secondary issue was the transparency of the curtain. I wanted filtered light. I had to play with the transparency and type of light outside of the room. I chose a linear light to achieve the shadowing I wanted.
