| | Inspiration
My original object started out as a tree believe it or not, then turned into a fictional creature with a squid like resemblance. Its body made of water and heart shaped glass emblem on its head puts you in the scene as if you could touch it. The overall point of the creature is to in itself be the desk, riding on top of it in a surreal world while using its glass emblem to write down your ideas or thoughts.

| | Problems and Solutions
The only real problem I encountered was trying to use a point light correctly so that my light source appeared to be the actual source. It seemed like my mini maggots didn’t appear to be emitting the light. In the end I messed a little with the translucency and luminescence of the object to give it more of a glow.
