Inspiration

Inspiration for this work comes from the exsitement of getting a new job.  The Idea that you got the corrner office and the new house with a wife and you can feel your life is finaly falling into place.  This is a idea that is close to me because it is what I am striving for now that Im about to graduate.

Problems and Solutions

Most the problems I faced with this project were learning issues.  Once I got with the flow of the program and the way things are done it became easier to do the things I wanted because I usaly found some tool or option that would allow for me to do it.  I found that I enjoy modeling much much more then doing the scene layout and lighting and texturing.  But it was a good learning experiance anyways.  My lap gave me a bit of problems when i put the light in it.  I had apparently made the shade too transparent and ended up with a large glare on my window that didnt look right for it to be there.  Another major problem I ran into was the lighting I found it hard to posistion the lights right in my room so that the glass in the room didnt flar much.  How ever when i was messing around i learned how to make a cool looking sun glare in my window using the glass and lights.  Time did become a major factor here as I wanted to do so much more that I found I just didnt have the skills to do. Such as making a paper bag that looked decent or do even simple things like a stack of paper. I found the stack hard because i couldnt get it look stack well and my atemps at making an object that looked like a stack of papers faild.  Looking back on it I would have liked to try to make a stack of papers out of a simple box and a texture but just ran out of time.  Over all Im happy with what i got done but wish I had more time to put the rest of my ideas to work.  I also found it frustrating that I could not find objects to fill the empty space left in my room on the net.  I spent time looking for free objects to barrow and found close to nothing for free.
