Inspiration

The inspiration for my desk scene came from my real life hobbies. I love photography and wanted to show that in my work. That is apparent in the Photoshop screen on the computer as well as the various artworks that I had made that are framed on the wall.

Problems and Solutions

Most of the problems I had were in layout. I had a hard time finding the right light settings to create a realistic, well lit scene. I also found it hard to place the point light that was meant to be the bulb. I believe this was because the bulb itself was very small, but the room was very large. I figured out where to place the light for the best effects after many renders.

Time FramePlanning scene4 hours, I spent a lot of time on one desk scene, only to switch it later
