Problems and Solutions

Our first minor problem that we ran into was trying to figure out what we wanted our scene to look like.  We all ran into several problems with the individual objects that we were working on, but were able to help one another with many of the problems that we needed help with.  Some of the initial problems that we ran into were; trying to get the path in our scene, moon light, and Mickey’s body.  As we got closer to completing our scene we certainly ran into several bigger problems.  Figuring out how to get the right settings for our fog affect proved to be a major problem for us, which we feel still needed much work.  We also ran into problems with SasLight and having to many points for the demo version that we were running.

Luckily we all got along with each other, which made it easier to help one another with some of the problems that we ran into.  We did not really come up with a good and fast solution for our path, so we had to go ahead and draw it in with the sketch tool.  We did not have enough time to try and get the moon light in our scene, so we left it out.  When it came to solving the problem with Mickey’s body we figured that we were going to place a cape over him so that we would not have to worry about the body.  The problem that we had with the fog was not fixed entirely, but we were able to get descent results after much trial and error.  With the demo version that we were running of SasLight, the only thing that we could do was to go ahead and actually delete a large part of our terrain so that we would not be over on the point limit.
