| | Inspiration
My original idea was to create a world after a huge disaster. However, I spent 90% of the time creating my organic human. But with Steve’s help, I was able to create a decent ocean and sky to complete the scene. After working on the character for so long, I decided to tweak the idea a little to fit the timeline. The new scene actually turned out very well. I hope the viewer enjoys this scene as much as I making it.

| | Problems and Solutions
Every single thing in this project is “troublesome.” The character itself took forever. Then I had to create a torso and clothing to cover him up so his head would not float around and scared people. The hair was tricky. I still have no idea how it really works, but I can create them using Saslite with ease. The sky tracer had issues also. The sun was so far away from the scene that it took forever to find it. My suggestion is to not make an organic character unless you have a lot of time to spare. Solutions, I used the box method to create the character, which means I manipulated polygons and started sculpting the face. I used multi-rail extrude tool to create the hair combining the uses of Saslite. Then I created the torso using the box method again. Sky tracer and ocean used the preset Steve provided with a little bit of tweaking.
