| | Inspiration
I modeled this desk scene after my room when I lived in Arizona a couple of years ago. The only thing that was different with my old desk was it had additional level above the computer. I wanted to make a dark room because the way our house was facing in Arizona my room didn’t see a lot of sunlight you mostly just saw light from the lamps in my room. Instead of putting carpet in the room I took some inspiration from my garage there. We had grey and blue checkers linoleum so when I saw it in the textures I instantly wanted to add it to my scene. | |

| | Problems and Solutions
One of the problems I ran into was creating the objects in modeler the right size. It was a simple fix to just size them up or down, Another problem I had was I didn’t make the top of my lamp transparent and no light was going through it. I changed the top of my lamp to glass to that light could get through and I also raised my light up out of the half bowl so that I would cast even more light onto my scene. I tried to make the back of my chair rounded like most chairs are and I tried doing it a couple of ways but decided none of them looked right. Eventually I just made the back of the chair flat.
