| | Inspiration
I have always been interested in the way baseball stadiums are designed because, unlike any other sport, no two baseball fields are exactly alike. I wanted to create a park that incorporated elements from some of my favorite baseball stadiums while also adding some unique design elements of my own. What I ended up with is the park you see here.

| | Problems and Solutions
The first problem I encountered was making realistic looking grass. I found that making artificial turf was a lot easier than trying to make natural grass. I also had difficulty making the surface of the infield dirt. I ended up using the Lightwave preset for an orange peel and changing the color. To make realistic chalk lines I created a box that was about three inches thick and used the cloud texture in Lightwave. Lighting was not very difficult unlike my previous projects. Because I was doing a well lit outdoor scene, the lighting was even. My lone light source in the scene is the Sun in SkyTracer, which I used for my sky.
