Drawing on the work of Charles Rennie Mackintosh, I wanted to create a scene that depicts his definitive style yet incorporate my own ideas. Mackintosh was known for his encompassing work, though he was foremost known as an architect, which led to the fabrication of all aspects of the building including furniture, art, and stained glass windows. To emulate his style, the interior utilizes a similar color palate of earth hues and “flower-color” accents to represent his unique combination of geometry and organic forms.
