| | Inspiration
Since 1997, a cat was born to the 2D cartoon world. The creature became known “Fluffy”. For seven years, Fluffy was cramed into his 2D space, and his creator had never thought to expand Fluffy’s mobility and inner dream to become more than he was (a silly cartoon cat). But he remained flat and boring…until today. Curious about his new surrounding (since everything became so bulgy), Fluffy walks a green landscape and discovers a new aspect of reality: depth. And fur!

| | Problems and Solutions
One main problem was that this was not my original idea for my final scene. I had this awesome idea to make myself in 3D space, but the idea bombed out roughly a month before the final was due since I discovered that I would need MUCH more time to finish the project. My solution was simple: make something I know well so I don’t have to experiment too much. So I decided to make the cartoon character that I have created and have been drawing since the sixth grade. Then I had a few problems with trying to access Sas Lite, but after reviewing a tutorial on Sas Lite I soon got the hang of the plug-in. Plus I had this awesome scene where Fluffy was to celebrate his liberation of the 2D world, but for some reason, I ran out of time to finish that render (it was taking nearly 20+ hours!!!). So I had to scrape that render (which I plan to finish over the summer).
