Inspiration

I recently read an article about a rock and roll band that had programmed software to help them make songs.  I believe the program could make accompanying sounds to already made beats.  This brought an interesting question to my head.  Can artificial intelligence make music or does music come from the human spirit?  I envisioned a possible future where robots live among us and create their own music groups.  One such group is the one I made up for this project.  They work under robot owned and operated Robot Records. They are not a band because none of them play instruments.  There are two members; one makes the beats and one makes the vocals. All the beats are made using electronic synthesizers.  Is this possible? Can music be broken down into computer code and regurgitated originally by a computer program?

Problems and Solutions

The main problem I had was moving the robots body parts around the scene.  This was tedious work.  I should have learned to make skeletons and dealt with it that way.  I also had a problem making the smoke come out of the cigarette.  I am still not excited about the result but I got it to look realistic enough.  I would like to find a way make excellent looking smoke.  The last problem discussed here was the first thing I did.  Making the head was a difficult task that evolved many errors.  Even though this was a trying time if I wanted to make another head I could do it in half the time.  I think my next logical step is to try and make a human head, face and body.
