| | Inspiration
I wanted to create a scene that represents life, in the form of a samurai showdown set at night with some interesting lighting. I chose to display the eternal connection of man and woman, equal and opposite in our progression through life and death and life again. It was set on a Mortal Kombat style arena. I wanted to emphasize the eight directions of our little planet: North, South, East, West, NE, SE, SW, and NW. I used the paths to do this, and played with sasquash lite to try and make grass to represent the presence of nature. The yin yang sums up my whole project so I had to include it. I am starting to feel much more comfortable with Lightwave and I wanted to challenge myself with this one.

| | Problems and Solutions
I am pretty satisfied with the final results. Rendering takes about thirty minutes to an hour per render. That was a little frustrating to me, but it eventually worked. There where only a few little glitches and flaws in the end, but maybe one day I’ll be able to fix all my problems and make one perfect little visual.
