Leon Hanson Final Scene
 Invasion of the Flying Rats
Inspiration

In the future the militaries of the earth began a new arms race.  It was not nuclear war we had to fear ending mankind but instead the manipulation of biological forms in the creation of bio soldiers. The race for the greatest of these weapons had been won by the militaries of United Europe.  It was not the mere strength of this biological mutation that brought the race too an end…The rat seemed like a good candidate…They were everywhere…dominating , out of control.  Similar to the movie “Reign of Fire” except with big ugly flying rats.  Mankind was brought to the dark ages within days.   Man was forced to fight with middle aged weaponry.  The few survivors fought building to building, not in any heroic fight to end the rats reign, but instead as foragers looking for scraps too eat.  The human race had exchanged places within the food chain with the rodent we new as the pesky rat.

Problems and Solutions

The lights were very time consuming.  Working with the camera view was absolutely necessary, and something I did not use nearly as much as I did in this project.  It was difficult for me at first too come up with a story until a fellow class mate mistook my dragon for what he saw as a flying rat.
