| | Inspiration
For some time now I have wanted to do a scene that looks like it came from a fantasy book. I liked the idea of a sword floating in some kind of magical particles waiting to be taken by the hands of a warrior. So I thought I would try to create the image I had in my head. | |

| | Problems and Solutions
My biggest problem was Lightwave some how corrupting my objects as I saved them. I had backups but they were old, so in essence I had to start over with little time to complete it. One of the hardest parts of this project was getting my vision onto the computer. I knew what I wanted it to look like but I just couldn't get it right. It took a lot of trial and error to get the right effect. The particle effect was a little a tricky to work with, I had never used it before so that took some time to understand how that worked. Even though I had to start over everything came out pretty well. I am proud of my work. | |
