| | Inspiration
The Earth and the moon have collided, only half of the Earth has survived…for now. The inspiration of my scene came from surrelistic posters that I have seen. Where it shows space, or a landscape, and some add a twist to them. Mine, takes place in a time where the Moon has collided into the Earth. There is a shot showing the two after the collision, and then on the edge of the Earth. | |

| | Problems and Solutions
I had some problems at first getting the Earth to look like, the picture wouldn’t work too well to fit around it, but I was able to find a web site that gave actual pictures of the Earth in real time. So I put one of those on it and it turned out pretty good. Other than that, everything was pretty simple, I just wanted to create a scene that showed the edge of the world, with water falling off the edge. All of the modeling was pretty straight forward, the toughest part of it all was getting the texturing too big. I started out by making the scene way too big, so I really had to adjust the sizes on all of the objects. I wanted to add a small forest, but since I had made everything else so big I couldn’t get them to show up the way I had planned.
