| | Inspiration
My inspiration for this scene really came from finals week, or lack of wanting to deal with finals week. I got the idea of creating a secluded townhouse, not a farm, from my boyfriend’s house. It’s peaceful, and secluded, and by including a motorcycle it actually reminds me of his cabin. The technical problems I had when working on this scene were basically around adding the sky tracer, which is only because the horizon line caused a black border between the sky and the ground. Although by alternating the perspective of the camera, I was able to remove the appearance of the line, I noticed that also stopped me from getting renders I wanted. I also really like the detail I was able to add to the house within the scene, because I added wood borders to the walls, and finally was able to figure out anti-aliasing so that allowed the wood to appear smooth. In conclusion, I really liked making this scene, it was peaceful for me to create, and actually helped take my mind off of finals week.

| | Problems and Solutions
My biggest problem was figuring out the camera angle to achieve a render that wouldn’t include a black line from the horizon. Although I found Sky-Tracer easy to use and understandable, it still included a black line which was difficult to get rid of. | |
