| | Inspiration
Inspiration is such a harsh word, I like to call it, ah, what the heck. I was inspired to do this particular scene, because all the things in it are real, I just threw them together in the best way I could. They are my glasses, that is my laptop, and my lamp, (the desk floor and walls are really the dorms, but I'm using them right now) and the pencil is mine, I found it, so it's mine. I titled it working in Lightwave, because the computer screen has lightwave minimized, and because I made the project in Lightwave. I also wanted to attract attention to my HOME MADE laptop.

| | Problems and Solutions
I had the hardest time with keeping my attention on the project, staying awake on little sleep and with my lamp. The lamp had severe problems with the switch, because it always looked funny.
I solved my attention problem with gluing my eyes open and chanting only two more hours.... I solved the lack of sleep with god blessed caffiene, and my lamp was a little more interesting. The switch was generated by a disk with the center removed, resulting in a can like shape, was booleaned out of the base, but it went too far so I made a copy of the base and booleaned that out of the can so the bottom would contour the original base, lowered the can a few millimetres and booleaned it out, end result a better looking lamp. I ended up killing the lamp and starting over with the new three lamp lamp. | |
