| | Inspiration
For this project my inspiration was the things that when added up, create my soul. I wanted to create something that explained, in a way, who I am. The family photos were a must for me to put into my scene. I had asked my mom to go to Kinko’s and photograph some pictures of my family. The one with six people in it is me and my family, my sister is adopted from Korea. The gray and white photo is of my Grandfather on my mother’s side and my Grandmother; she passed when my mom was 7. The photo of the young boy and girl is of me and my girlfriend Victoria. The photo of the older couple, where the man has his arm around the lady, is of my Grandparents on my father’s side. My Grandma on my father’s side recently passed away and my grandpa on my father’s side passed away a few years back. I also put posters of the late rapper Tupac Shakur and the late actor James Dean. They both symbolize something great, they had so much potential and it ended too soon. Shakur and Dean to me symbolize an eternal flame; their impact on society will never die. I just wish I could live up to that. This project allowed me to connect with all of the people who have helped to make me who I am, and to thank them in some small way.

| | Problems and Solutions
A problem I had was trying to put my pencil into the project. When I had created it I had made it very large, the thing was like a billion miles long. I tried to shrink it and add it to my scene but I think I went to fast because I got mixed up and lost it. I just decided not to add it to my scene, I understand it’s required, but I felt like it didn’t add much to my scene. The picture frames were another problem, I couldn’t figure out how to add my photo’s to the frames, I found out that when I Boolean subtracted the frame and created a frame edge around the photo that I could name that surface. I then had a surface for the frame edge and the surface where I wanted the photo. Some minor problems here and there but for the most part I had no real major problems. If I did it was just me panicking and nothing more.
