| | Inspiration
The Inspiration for this project was Tom and Jerry. Cha and Veasna kept these characters in mind when modeling the two animals. Nick and Jon just looked at their own home kitchens, and thought about what the typical kitchen would look like.
Story:
The timid, household cat didn't know what he was getting into when meowing and swiping at a mouse outside. The mouse, very confident in it's ability to defend itself, chased the cat back into the house. The cat jumped up on the counter, trying to evade the mouse. This ferocious mouse demonstrates it's amazing strength by leaping onto to the counter to continue chasing the cat. The cat, not paying attention to where it is going, narrowly avoids a stack of clean bowls, but knocks over a stack of plates, breaking one in the process. The cat, running out of counter space to run on, leaps off the counter, which is where the scene is frozen in time.

| | Problems and Solutions
Jon The broken plate was very difficult to make. The plate was sub-patched, so when I would delete some polygons, they would come out rounded. In the end, I had to take off the sub-patching, and just use a smooth texture. I made the missing part by deleting two large sections from the outside, then sub-dividing the two pieces next to those. I deleted a few of the smaller polygons in those pieces, and moved the points along the edge, to give it a jagged look. Then, for the shards, I made two new polygons, and sub-divided them, deleted a few of the polygons, and moved the points on the edge to give them a jagged look as well.
Cha I had problems with saslite many problems. For more detailed information look at my tutorial on Saslite. Warning: when using Saslite, think ahead!!! Veasna The problems I had in creating the cat is that at first I didn't know where to start. I looked at a lot of cat picture. I try to grasp the figure of the cat in my mind. I started doing the brachiosaurus tutor then I would know how to create the body and any four legs animal. After that I try to shape to point so that the object would look like a cat. I have a hard time choosing the texture of the cat. It was hard for me to move the paws of the cat since I flatten the layer.
Nick The sink had some problems in the beginning, in the fact that it didn't look quite right. I wanted the sink to look like it was a sink, not a brand new piece of shiny metal. I had to experiment with different metals to try to find the right combination. Eventually, after playing around with the different settings of the different metals, I was able to come up with one that looked very accurate.
