Inspiration

When I was thinking of doing a final project, it came to mind that i wanted to do something really science Fiction. Big mecha has always been one of my favorite topics to both study and research. I decided to go with a Battle Tech Atlas because they are the king of the battle feild. The atlas is one of the heavist and most notible battle mech. Because of this and my love for mecha I hoped to create a scene that represents an Atlas's Fury.

Problems and Solutions

I hate Volumetric Lighting, but its the only way to do lazors right. Mostly i had trouble with getting the sky to look right, it ment playing with skytracer till it had the look i wanted. (best way is to go outside when the sky looks the way you want it to and see what time that is). Also i had trouble with the ocean before i got a good tutorial. Otherwize it was just sit down and think about each peice and take the time to put in the details.
