Problems and Solutions

Throughout this desk project I have trouble trying to cut the board in a 45 degree angle. I am trying to get use to all the perspective point of view. The hard part of this project is trying to do the glass tutorial and modeling the Chinese lantern. The glass tutorial is little confusing at first when I tried it but later on I got the hang of it. As for the Chinese lantern it is different because I tried to model a good lantern. As for the texture I would to say that I was in a hurry a little bit. I found most of the text in one of the texture website.

Once I was done with the modeling and texture. I tried to put in the Light Wave layout mode. First of all I tried to move the object around and suddenly the only one of the piece did move and I wonder why. Then I ask a friend in class and he suggests that I should flatten the entire layer into one before putting the object in the Light Wave layout.
I did what he told me to do and it work. I can move the whole object without the little piece behind.

This desk project is very good exercise for the class. The things I need to improve on were camera angle and learning to make good texture. All in all this exercise is good.
