| | Inspiration
In the back room of my favorite game shop sits this table. It is made of wood and covered in felt. We use it to play many different kinds of customizable miniature games like Mechwarrior Dark age.
I decided to do this table because it shows a different look at a table, something that could be more then a wood plank with 4 legs. Also the prospect of making Dark Age figurines in lightwave appealed to me

| | Problems and Solutions
Doing the Mech was difficult because of all the little parts that make up the whole. Doing the arms and legs became difficult but I found that if I mirror I could make a symmetrical body even after I did lots of reshaping.
The other problem I ran into was getting my lamp to work correctly. For the most part the light worked but it started out not getting the light out. I figured out that my bulb was the problem and it wasn't allowing light to get out. A few transparency setting changes later and that was fixed.
The biggest thing was the chair back. To get them correct I had to build them flat then use the bend tool to get them to curve correctly. Then after I had a curve I mirrored it to get it correct.
