Story:

The only inspiration for this scene I had was the war, and a tutorial I saw a while back on box modeling.

Problems and Solutions:

Again, the main problem I had was teaching myself 3D Studio Max 5 to do the project. 3ds Max 5 is a complicated piece of software with a plethora of features that can sometimes be daunting. Doing the model was also a bit complicated because I had never modeled anything like it before. Getting the barrels of the Gatling gun aligned properly proved to be very time consuming, but I eventually managed to get it right. The elliptical portions of the turret apparatus were difficult to construct because I had to do it from a spline that I extruded.
