Story:

It's an early morning in the casino, so no one is around.  The janitor was cleaning and found a quarter on the ground.  He picked it up and didn't think twice about putting the quarter into one of the slot machines.  He figured no one ever wins, so he would just be doing his job by putting the money back where is was going to end up anyway.  He put the quarter in the slot and pulled the handle.  To his surprise, the lights started flashing and the bells started to ring.  He hit the jack pot.  He was frantic and had no idea what to do so he ran as fast as he could out of the building because he was only eighteen and he wasn't allowed to be gambling.  Money spewed from the machine, but no one was there to claim it.  Hopefully the old lady that was playing on that machine the whole night before will be the first one to walk in and see the machine overflowing so she can try to claim it.

Our inspiration was our hopes of winning big some day.  We would all like to win money some day, so we thought that we could try to make our dream closer to us by making a scene that would make us feel like we were the winners!  Hope fully we would be able to claim it though if we actually did win!

Problems and Solutions:

We couldn't find a janitor to put in the background like we wanted to.  We wanted him actually pulling the handle, but instead we made the scene look like it had just happened instead of happing right then.  Cristen had a lot of trouble making the water in the water fountain look like water, but she used different textures until she found one that looked close to it. Jacob had trouble with laying out the project.  He was the controller and the rest of us tried to direct him at the same time so it didn't work to well.  Derek had trouble with creating fine lines for the light bulb.  It took him a few tries, but with patience, he finally got it to look the way he wanted it to.  The hardest part was trying to make everything come together.  It all came together in the end, but it took a lot of time and compromising to get things to look good together.
