Problems and Solutions:
My main problem was that I did not possess the modeling skills necessary for my desired effect. For instance, I originally wanted to model and include a tattoo artist and customer, as well as a tattoo machine in the scene. There was no solution to this problem per say, and this was also an issue of time constraints, because although I budgeted my time well with all of my other assignments, I still was not able to complete these objects. I also had a hard time with the lighting in layout, as usual, but worked with it until I was satisfied. In addition, I also had a problem with corrupted files, both with my final rendered files and some of my object files, so I had to spend additional time on my project re-doing things.
Resources: I made all of my objects, and since many of them were plastic or vinyl, rather than use textures, I mainly adjusted the settings in Lightwave, such as specularity, glossiness, reflectivity, smoothing, etc. However, for the more organic and difficult textures, such as my metal, wood, marble, paper, and wall textures, I referred to the following Photoshop texture tutorials, which were each user-friendly and accurate.
