Inspiration/Story

My inspiration for this assignment was that I have played baseball all my life up until recently, and it is still one of my favorite things.  This project comes from memories basically.  I always thought that it would be fun to have my own stadium, so that's what I did here.  I got the idea from different professional fields that I have gone to, spring training fields, and other fields that I have played on, including minor league stadiums.  I wasn't sure what exactly I wanted to do at first, but then it hit me, and I just started thinking about all the good times I've had in baseball, so I felt that it would be the perfect thing to do.

Problems and Solutions:

The main problem I had in doing this was time.  I had a lot of ideas of what I wanted to do, but I had to settle with what I could do.  I learned a lot of tools that I hadn't used before which helped me out in doing the rest of the project.  Looking at it, I don't think it looks all that difficult, but it was more difficult than I thought that it would be, and a lot more time consuming.  One problem I had was getting the grass to look good, because baseball field grass is so short, it was hard to get it to look realistic, after messing with the settings as much as I could, I just made it a little longer and it came out looking good.  As obvious in the last picture, I don't know what exactly happened with the sky, but the camera angle isn't the best angle, but I wanted to show the whole setup so I left it as is.  I'm sure I ran into other problems but I cannot think of them at the moment.
